We Don’t Use Software That Costs Money Here:
It’s tempting to ascribe this to the “cult of no-pay”, programmers and users who simply won’t pay for software no matter how good it is, or how inexpensive it may be. These people used to be called pirates. Now they’re open source enthusiasts.
As a person who recently purchased an enterprise level server for my continuous builds on multiple projects….for use at home; I can say that I do not understand people who shy away from investing in themselves.
I would much rather use Vault (which you guys have great support by the way) and have seamless integration into my IDE than cobble together a free-option from multiple sources which might not even be around at any given point.
